Fox Among the Foxgloves

Hi everyone

This is an original art piece (now sold) – a fox and a foxglove on wildflower seeded paper. Created in coloured pencil, roughly A5 size. I bought the wildflower paper for a different commission,  but was unable to use it. It’s really beautiful paper, and even better, you can plant it and it will grow wildflowers! I found that pretty inspiring, and wanted to create a few pieces of art with british wildlife using this paper. There’s one of a deer in the works but I have been dragging my feet a bit so it’s not done yet.

Anyway, the paper doesn’t come out great on the scan, so next time I think I’ll stick to photos with this paper. For now, enjoy!

  1. Love this. It is very clever using the foxglove with the fox. The paper is stunning and will certainly frame beautifully. Well done, Helen.
